...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN DE KALB...NORTHERN KANE AND SOUTHERN MCHENRY
COUNTIES...

At 625 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Huntley, or 7
miles southeast of Marengo, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Carpentersville, Algonquin, McHenry, Woodstock, Island Lake, Marengo,
Genoa, Wonder Lake, Lake In The Hills, Huntley, Gilberts, Johnsburg,
Lakemoor, Hampshire, Lakewood, Oakwood Hills, Prairie Grove,
Kingston, Bull Valley and McCullom Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for north central
and northeastern Illinois.
