This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Fog Risk in the morning.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk today.

DISCUSSION...

Though road closures are becoming less common, residual flooding
from Sunday's heavy rain will continue for portions of northeast
Illinois. Most area rivers will remain above flood stage, with
several locations along the Des Plaines and Illinois rivers at
major flood stage.

High lake levels combined with a one foot storm surge and gusty
easterly winds will result in a threat for minor lakeshore
flooding through this afternoon.

Areas of dense fog remain possible this morning, especially near
the lake.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Friday night through Monday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

There will be periodic thunderstorms chances for the upcoming
Memorial Day weekend.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
