Kankakee River at Shelby affecting Lake and Newton Counties

The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation as well
as forecast precipitation 24-48 hours into the future.

The Fox River at Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater, or from Johnsburg
downstream to Red Gate Road in St. Charles.
* until further notice.
* At 730 PM Friday the stage was 11.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to a stage of 11.0 feet
by Sunday morning.
* Impact...At 11.0 feet...Filip Street and Fox River Drive threatened
in Algonquin.
