This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected…

Elevated Excessive cold Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Unseasonably cold air will flood into the region, with wind chills falling to -20 to -25 across northern Illinois late this evening into overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.

Monday…

Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.

Tuesday and Wednesday…

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

Thursday…

Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

The unseasonably cold air for March will continue through the first half of the week. Wind chills of around -20 to -25 are likely across northern Illinois early Monday morning. There is a chance of snow for portions of the area on Thursday.
