DISCUSSION:

A strong storm system will affect the area this weekend. Rain and a chance of thunderstorms are expected Saturday, with very windy conditions developing Saturday night into Sunday.

Moderate to locally heavy rainfall Saturday afternoon could lead to minor localized flooding. Localized ice jam flooding is possible on area rivers.
