This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Patchy dense fog, mainly south of the Illinois and Kankakee
river valleys.

DISCUSSION...

Patchy shallow fog is expected to develop late tonight,
especially south of Interstate 80. Some of this patchy fog may
become dense in spots, especially south of the Illinois and
Kankakee river valleys before sunrise.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 1 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk, mainly at night.
Sunday and Monday...
Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.
Limited mainly nighttime Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 2 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk south of Highway 24.

DISCUSSION...

Hot and humid conditions will return this weekend into early next
week, along with periodic thunderstorm chances. Heat indices will
approach or exceed 100 degrees Sunday and Monday.
