This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 2 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
Level 1 of 5 Large Hail Risk...up to 1 inch in diameter.
Level 1 of 5 Flash Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms will continue this afternoon through early
evening primarily across northern Illinois. Another round of
storms are possile this evening through early Sunday morning.
The strongest storms may produce locally damaging winds, large
hail, and flash flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday and Monday...
Limited to Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Flash Flooding Risk.
Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Additional waves of thunderstorms are possible Sunday through
Tuesday. There will be continued threats of damaging winds,
large hail, and flash flooding later Sunday and later Monday.

In addition, dangerous heat with heat indices over 100 degrees
are expected Sunday and Monday afternoons.

Spotters may be needed this afternoon through the overnight hours.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east-northeast at 25 mph through the afternoon.
Moving toward the southeast at 45 mph this evening through the
overnight hours.
