Watch for the following rivers in Illinois...
Fox River at Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater affecting McHenry,
Lake IL and Kane Counties.
Fox River at Dayton affecting La Salle zone.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
These forecasts are heavily based on forecasted precipitation 24
hours into the future. Changes to the rainfall forecast may cause
changes to these river forecasts.

...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT TO SATURDAY MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding is possible.
* WHERE...Fox River from Johnsburg downstream to Red Gate Road in
St. Charles, including the Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater gauge.
* WHEN...From late tonight to Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Water overflows low-lying river banks along
Grove Street in Valley View, along River Shore Drive in Cary, and
along Riverview Drive and Holiday Drive in Holiday Hills.
At 9.5 feet, Boathouses threatened along the river in Cary.
At 10.0 feet, Winaki Trail and Onaway Trail are threatened south
of Algonquin.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 8.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river may crest near 9 to 10 feet on
Wednesday.
- Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
