Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

A couple of isolated thunderstorms are expected through sunset.

Also, there is also a chance of thunderstorms after midnight,
especially near and west of the I-39 corridor.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 1 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Wednesday and Thursday...
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 1 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Friday and Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

There is a threat for strong to severe thunderstorms Monday
afternoon. All severe hazards are possible.

An active weather pattern will continue through the end of the
week with multiple additional chances for thunderstorms. Some
storms may be severe, posing primarily a damaging wind threat. In
addition, thunderstorms could produce torrential rainfall which
may lead to instances of flooding.

Heat indices may locally exceed 100 degrees at times Tuesday
through Thursday, mainly south of I-80.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the north northeast at 15 to 20 mph.
