This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk mainly south of I-80.
Limited Flooding Risk mainly south of I-80.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms are expected again today, primarily to
the south of I-80. While severe weather is not expected,
torrential downpours will accompany some of the storms, and this
may result in some minor localized flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 1 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Sunday through Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk at times.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Hot and humid conditions look poised to return this weekend into
next week, along with periodic thunderstorm chances. Heat indices
may approach or exceed 100 degrees Sunday through Tuesday.

Flooding is possible along portions of the Kankakee and Iroquois
River basins.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
