This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Non thunderstorm wind Risk today.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk This afternoon.
Significant Lakeshore Flood Risk Through this evening.
Extreme Freeze Risk Tonight.

DISCUSSION...

Winds gusts could approach 40 mph mainly near the lake and across
northwest Indiana.

The gusty winds, low relative humidities, and dry fuels will lead
to an elevated fire danger this afternoon.

The strong onshore winds will also result in lake shore flooding,
which should be most severe across the northwest Indiana shore.

Finally, sub-freezing temperatures are likely tonight, with a hard
freeze expected across portions of northern Illinois and northwest
Indiana away from the lake and outside of the urban corridors of
Chicago and Rockford.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk during the afternoon.
Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Thursday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
