This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.

DISCUSSION...

There is a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms this
afternoon mainly south of the Illinois and Kankakee River
valleys. Severe weather is not expected.

Farther north, a dry air mass combined with mild afternoon
temperatures and gusty west-northwest winds will present an
elevated fire weather risk this afternoon especially north of
Interstate 88 across far northern Illinois. Afternoon relative
humidity is expected to drop into the 25 to 30 percent range,
with wind gusts up to 30 mph. This could allow for rapid spread
of any wildfires.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east at 45 mph.
