At 805 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Sharon to near Belvidere. Movement was east at 45 mph.
Half inch hail and wind gusts up to 45 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include… Algonquin, McHenry, Woodstock, Harvard, Island Lake, Marengo, Wonder Lake, Pistakee Highlands, Lake In The Hills, Huntley, Johnsburg, Lakemoor, Spring Grove, Lakewood, Oakwood Hills, Prairie Grove, Richmond, Hebron, Bull Valley and McCullom Lake.
This includes…Mchenry County College, Mchenry County Fairgrounds, and Moraine Hills State Park.
