An isolated thunderstorm is possible along and south of Interstate 80 this morning, and across north-central Illinois tonight. Severe storms are not expected.

An active stretch of weather is expected across northern Illinois and northwest Indiana through the remainder of the week. Expect rises on area rivers and streams as a result of multiple rounds of thunderstorms. Favored basins include the Rock and Pecatonica.
