Freezing conditions were observed across most of northern Illinois and northwestern Indiana on the morning of October 16th. For this reason, the growing season is essentially over and the Chicago National Weather Service will not be issuing any additional frost or freeze warnings for the area until the Spring of 2019. </pre>
