This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday.

Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.  Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk

DISCUSSION:

A strong cold front will move through the area on Saturday, with  gusty northwest winds developing. Sustained wind speeds of 20 to  30 mph are expected with gusts as high as 40 mph at times. The  strong northwest winds will result in waves in excess of 10 feet  along the Indiana shore Saturday afternoon and evening, which  may result in minor lakeshore flooding.
