This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Significant Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Isolated thunderstorms are possible this morning, especially along and south of I-80. Severe weather is not expected this morning. Additional thunderstorm chances return across the entire outlook tonight, and although severe weather is not likely, can't rule out an isolated stronger storm capable of producing small hail and locally heavy downpours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.

Monday…

Limited Flooding Risk.  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Tuesday…

Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Flooding Risk.

Wednesday…

Significant Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Additional periods of showers and thunderstorms are possible through mid-week.

Flooding potential along portions of the Rock, Pecatonica, Fox and Des Plaines Rivers will continue.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

Moving toward the northeast at 40 mph.
