Rainfall of one to three and a half inches was observed across parts of the Flash Flood Watch area, with the heaviest rains across the I-90 corridor and into Winnebago and Boone Counties. While rain showers are expected at times this afternoon and tonight, the intensity of the rain will not be as heavy as last night. Thus the Flash Flood Watch has been cancelled early.
Rivers will continue to rise across the area. Do not cross any closed roads due to water. </pre>
