This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.  Elevated Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Scattered thunderstorms are likely this morning across north central Illinois. Severe weather is not expected at this time.

Patchy dense fog is possible across the outlook area through mid morning.

River levels will remain in flood along some northern Illinois rivers, especially the Pecatonica and Rock.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday…

Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Flooding Risk.

Wednesday…

Elevated Flooding Risk.  Significant Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

There is potential for more heavy rain late Tuesday night into Wednesday across the area. This could result in additional flooding concerns.

River levels will remain in flood along some northern Illinois rivers, especially the Pecatonica and Rock.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
