.Periods of heavy rain are expected across northern Illinois tonight into Saturday morning. The river forecasts are based on expected rainfall tonight and Saturday. Additional rainfall is possible Sunday and Monday.

At 830 PM Friday the stage was 9.1 feet.
Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
Minor flooding is forecast.
Forecast…Rise above flood stage by Saturday morning and continue to rise to near 10.4 feet by early Sunday morning.
