This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Today through Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk overnight.

DISCUSSION…

Showers and storms spread from west to east tonight. Severe storms are not expected.

River flooding continues at portions of the Pecatonica and Rock River basins.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday.

Friday…

Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.  Elevated Flooding Risk.

Saturday and Sunday…

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.

Monday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Tuesday and Wednesday…

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

An active pattern will persist across northern Illinois and northwest Indiana brining multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms to the area. Heavy rain is expected at times and will lead to rises on area streams and rivers.

River flooding continues at portions of the Pecatonica and Rock River basins.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

Moving toward the east at 40 to 45 MPH.
