An isolated thunderstorm is possible across north-central Illinois late tonight. Severe storms are not expected.

DISCUSSION:
An active stretch of weather is expected across northern Illinois and northwest Indiana through the remainder of the week. There will be a low threat for some strong gusty storms over north central Illinois Wednesday evening. Otherwise, expect rises on area rivers and streams as a result of multiple rounds of heavy rain producing thunderstorms. Favored basins include the Rock and Pecatonica.
