This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:     Limited hail risk...up to Quarter.     Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.  Elevated Flooding Risk.  Limited Excessive heat Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this evening and tonight. The greatest coverage of storms along with the greatest severe and flood threat is expected along and north of a Rochelle to Waukegan line, though isolated storms are possible farther south. Hail and damaging winds will be the greatest threat with any of the stronger storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.

Monday…

Elevated Flooding Risk.  Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Tuesday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Wednesday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.  High Swim Risk

Thursday through Saturday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  High Swim Risk

DISCUSSION:

There will be periodic thunderstorm chances throughout the upcoming week. In addition, hot and humid conditions are also expected into Wednesday.
