Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated: Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph. Elevated Flooding Risk. Limited Excessive heat Risk. High Swim Risk
DISCUSSION…
Scattered thunderstorms will accompany a cold front this afternoon and tonight. A severe thunderstorm or two is possible, mainly southeast of a line from Dixon to Woodstock. Heavy rain from these storms may create flooding especially in locations that have recently seen an abundance of rain.

Multiple rainfall episodes, some heavy, are possible Thursday night through Saturday night, especially south of Interstate
If these were to pan out over the same area, flooding would
be a concern.
Dangerous swimming conditions are also expected across much of the Lake Michigan beaches through this weekend.
