This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Elevated Flooding Risk.  High Swim Risk

DISCUSSION…

Periods of rain along with a chance of thunderstorms is expected today…mainly along and south of Interstate 80. The main threat will be heavy rain and localized flooding. Scattered showers are expected north of Interstate 80. There will continue to be a chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight south of Interstate 80.

Northeast winds will produce high waves and dangerous swimming conditions at Lake Michigan beaches.

Flooding will continue on portions of the Pecatonica…Rock and Fox Rivers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday.

Saturday…

Elevated Flooding Risk.  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Lakeshore Flood Risk  High Swim Risk

Sunday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Lakeshore Flood Risk  High Swim Risk

Flooding will continue on portions of the Pecatonica…Rock and Fox Rivers.
