This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday…

Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk.

Saturday afternoon and Sunday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION: Scattered thunderstorms are likely Tuesday, especially during the mid to late afternoon and evening when some of the thunderstorms could become severe. The primary severe risk with these storms would be damaging winds in excess of 58 mph. While locally damaging winds will be the primary severe risk, there is a very small chance of large hail or perhaps even a tornado two.
