This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Flooding Risk.  High Swim Risk

DISCUSSION…

Areas of showers with a few embedded non-severe thunderstorms are expected through this afternoon. The greatest thunderstorm chances are generally south of I-80. Some locations may experience multiple rounds of thunderstorms that could produce localized flooding.

High waves will create dangerous swimming conditions at southern Lake Michigan beaches today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday.

Friday and Saturday…

Elevated Flooding Risk.  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  High Swim Risk

Sunday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  High Swim Risk

Monday…

High Swim Risk

DISCUSSION:

There will be additional chances for thunderstorms, mainly south of I-80 Friday though the weekend.
