At 135 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Bull Valley, or over McHenry, moving east at 20 mph.
Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include… McHenry, Round Lake, Wauconda, Fox Lake, Lake Villa, Island Lake, Wonder Lake, Long Lake, Pistakee Highlands, Johnsburg, Lakemoor, Volo, Prairie Grove, Bull Valley, McCullom Lake, Ringwood, Holiday Hills, Sunnyside, Crystal Lake and Round Lake Beach.
This includes…Moraine Hills State Park.
