THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR North Central Illinois...
Northeast Illinois AND Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Elevated Hail Risk...up to half dollar size.
Elevated Thunderstorm Wind Damage Risk...up to 65 MPH.
Limited Tornado Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Scattered thunderstorms will occur this afternoon, and some of these
storms may become severe with primarily a damaging wind and hail
threat. While the tornado threat is not zero with a pseudo cold
front lake breeze boundary, but the threat is pretty still low.
Any storms may produce locally heavy rainfall through tonight,
which could lead to ponding of water on roads and localized flooding.

Some fog will be dense near Lake Michigan through the evening.

Portions of the Fox River near Montgomery will be in
flood.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday morning...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Fog Risk.
Saturday night into and Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Portions of the Fox River near Montgomery will remain in
flood.

A cold front may trigger an isolated thunderstorm or two
late Saturday night and again Sunday afternoon.

Spotters may be needed this afternoon into this evening.
