THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR North Central Illinois… Northeast Illinois AND Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Early season heat will result in maximum heat index values in the mid to upper 90s today. Isolated thunderstorms are possible west of a McHenry to Pontiac, Illinois this afternoon. Severe storms are not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.

Monday…

Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Wednesday through Saturday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Maximum heat index values are forecast to once again be in the mid to upper 90s Memorial Day Monday away from the lake.
