THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR North Central Illinois… Northeast Illinois AND Northwest Indiana.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will continue through early this evening, generally south of a Pontiac to Rensselaer line. Severe weather is not anticipated, though the strongest cells may be capable of producing wind gusts to 45 mph and small hail. Thunderstorms should dissipate by sunset.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Wednesday…

Elevated Flooding Risk.  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Thursday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Locally heavy rainfall is possible Wednesday, as the remnants of sub-tropical storm Alberto lift across the region. Rainfall amounts in excess of two inches are possible.
