THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR North Central Illinois… Northeast Illinois AND Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…This Afternoon and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:  Limited Hail Risk...up to quarter size.  Limited Thunderstorm Wind Damage Risk...up to 60 mph.

DISCUSSION:

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected from mid to late afternoon across north-central Illinois, especially near Interstate 39. These isolated to scattered storms may continue into northeast Illinois early this evening. An additional low chance for thunderstorms exists overnight.

Portions of the Des Plaines rivers will remain in flood.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday.

Saturday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Tuesday through Thursday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotters may be needed from mid afternoon through early evening.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving from southwest to northeast around 25 MPH through the evening.
