THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR North Central Illinois… Northeast Illinois AND Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…This Afternoon and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Maximum heat index values are forecast to once again be in the mid 90s to the low 100s away from the lake.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible south of a LaSalle, Illinois to Fowler, Indiana line this afternoon. Severe storms are not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Wednesday…

Elevated Flooding Risk.  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Thursday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Friday through Sunday…

High Swim Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Tuesday will be another early season hot day with high temperatures in the 90s away from the lake.

Widespread rain and storms arrive late Tuesday night into Wednesday as the remnants of Subtropical Storm Alberto move into the region. If heavy rain occurs, flooding will be possible.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

Moving west at 15 to 20 MPH.
