Patchy dense fog has developed across portions of northern Illinois and northwest Indiana, with visibility falling to around one quarter mile at times. This fog will likely remain through 8 AM CDT, and then quickly dissipate. Those traveling this morning should use caution and expect poor and rapidly changing visibility. </pre>
