THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR North Central Illinois… Northeast Illinois AND Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Elevated Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Isolated thunderstorms will remain possible into this evening. While the threat for severe weather is low, an isolated strong thunderstorm capable of producing gusty winds can't be ruled out south of a La Crosse Indiana to Rensselaer Indiana to Wellington Illinois line.

Areas of fog are probable through the night, with at least patchy dense fog possible, especially in far northeast Illinois.

Portions of the Des Plaines, DuPage and Fox rivers will remain in flood.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday…

Elevated Fog Risk in the morning.

Wednesday through Sunday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk at times.

Portions of the Des Plaines, DuPage and Fox rivers will remain in flood.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotter activation is not expected to be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east northeast at 25-35 MPH.
