THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR North Central Illinois… Northeast Illinois AND Northwest Indiana.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and tonight. Severe weather is not anticipated, though some storms could have wind gusts to 40 mph and small hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday…

Elevated Flooding Risk.  Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.

Thursday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Friday…

High Swim Risk.

Saturday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Locally heavy rainfall is possible Wednesday as the remnants of Subtropical Storm Alberto move across the region. Rainfall amounts in excess of two inches are possible, mainly along and east of Interstate 55.
