Des Plaines River near Russell affecting Lake County Des Plaines River near Gurnee affecting Lake County Des Plaines River at Lincolnshire affecting Lake County Des Plaines River near Des Plaines affecting Cook County Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater affecting Kane and McHenry Counties Fox River at Montgomery affecting Kane and Kendall Counties
.Heavy rains of up to two and a half inches fell during the early morning hours across portions of the Des Plaines and Fox River basins. More rain is expected this afternoon through Tuesday morning so additional rises along the rivers are forecast.

Flood Warning for The Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater.
from Tuesday afternoon until further notice.
At 1030 AM Monday the stage was 7.3 feet.
Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
Minor flooding is forecast.
Forecast…Rise above flood stage by Tuesday afternoon and continue to rise to near 10.0 feet by Wednesday morning.
