EDT/ THIS MORNING...
The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of Illinois and Indiana, including the following
areas, in Illinois, Boone, Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Ford, Grundy,
Iroquois, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, La Salle, Lake IL, Lee,
Livingston, McHenry, Ogle, Will, and Winnebago. In Indiana,
Benton, Jasper, Lake IN, Newton, and Porter.
* Until 10 AM CDT /11 AM EDT/ this morning
* Multiple rounds of thunderstorms will likely produce heavy
rainfall over much of northern Illinois and northwest Indiana
tonight through early Thursday morning. This will be in
addition to what has already fallen this evening.
* Multiple rounds of heavy thunderstorms have produced heavy
rainfall over much of the area since Wednesday afternoon.
Rainfall will taper off this morning.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
