...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM WEDNESDAY TO 1 AM
CDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. An initial round of up to
one half inch of sleet is expected late Wednesday morning. The
precipitation will mix with rain early Wednesday afternoon
before changing to light to moderate snow by late Wednesday
afternoon. The snow will diminish beginning late Wednesday
evening. Total snow and sleet accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are
expected.

* WHERE...Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Lake IL and Ogle Counties.

* WHEN...From 10 AM Wednesday to 1 AM CDT Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions at times
late Wednesday morning and Wednesday evening. Expect reduced
visibilities at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and sleet
will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery roads and limited
