...Wintry Mixed Precipitation Tonight into Sunday...

.A slow moving spring storm will continue to move through the area
through Sunday. Gusty northeast winds have lowered temperatures to
the freezing mark across far northern Illinois this evening. This
is resulting in a mix of rain...freezing rain and sleet...with
some glazing on roads being reported near the Wisconsin border.
Patchy freezing rain will persist into Sunday morning, before
changing to sleet and light snow.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation. Additional snow and sleet
accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of
around one tenth are expected.

* WHERE...Winnebago, Boone, McHenry and Lake IL Counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT Sunday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The ice will result in difficult travel
conditions. Expect reduced visibilities at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
