THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Flooding is expected along portions of the Kankakee River.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.
Elevated Snow and Sleet Risk.

DISCUSSION:

There is a low chance of freezing rain north of Interstate 80
Wednesday morning well west of the Chicago metro area.

A wintry mix of rain and sleet is expected Wednesday, transitioning
to a period of snow Wednesday later afternoon and evening. Accumulations
will be mainly north of Interstate 80.

Portions of the Kankakee River will remain in flood.
