THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Limited Thunderstorm Risk south of I-80.
Elevated Fog Risk south.

DISCUSSION:

Areas of fog are possible tonight south of US Route 24.
Thunderstorms are possible after midnight tonight south of
I-80.

A portions of the Kankakee River near Shelby Indiana will
remain in flood.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday...
Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk.
Wednesday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A strong low pressure system will affect the area Tuesday
Tuesday night. Thunderstorms with heavy downpours are possible
for mainly southern portions of the outlook area Tuesday
through Tuesday afternoon. There is a risk for isolated strong
to severe thunderstorms capable of producing large hail and
possibly wind, mainly southeast of I-55. Rain will likely change
over to snow before ending Tuesday night, with minor accumulation
of up to two inches possible mainly in far northern Illinois.
Northwest winds may gust above 35 mph in some spots Tuesday night.

A portion of the Kankakee River near Shelby Indiana will remain
in flood.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
