THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Snow and Sleet Risk.
Limited Lakeshore Flooding Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Large waves and elevated lake levels will result in lakeshore
flooding along the Illinois Lake Michigan shore early this
morning.
A wintry mix including freezing rain will continue this morning
north of the Interstate 88 corridor and along the Illinois
Wisconsin state line. The wintry mix becomes snow this afternoon.
Areas south of the I-88 corridor will see rain turn over to snow
late this afternoon through tonight, and brief periods of sleet
are possible during the transition period. Most areas will see
less than a half inch of snow.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Wednesday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
