DISCUSSION:

While there is a chance for isolated thunderstorms over the area

period of snow and sleet before the precipitation ends.

Strong northeasterly winds, with gusts of 40 to 45 mph are
also expected over northern Illinois and far northwest Indiana on
Saturday. Some wind gusts to 50 mph are possible along the lake

Large waves over southern Lake Michigan on Saturday could produce
some minor lake shore flooding over portions of northeastern
Illinois.
