At 1013 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Algonquin, moving east at 25 mph.
Half inch hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this
storm.
Locations impacted include...
Elgin, Palatine, Carpentersville, Algonquin, Lake Zurich, Wauconda,
Barrington, Island Lake, Sleepy Hollow, East Dundee, Lake In The
Hills, Huntley, Hawthorn Woods, Inverness, West Dundee, Gilberts,
Kildeer, Lakewood, Volo and Oakwood Hills.
Including the following interstate...
I-90 between mile markers 27 and 28.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
