THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Elevated Thunderstorm Wind Damage Risk...up to 60 MPH.
Limited Hail Risk...up to nickel size.
DISCUSSION:
An isolated thunderstorm is possible this afternoon well south of
I-80, but the better chance for thunderstorms will be late this
evening near the Wisconsin border, then gradually spreading south
across northern during the Illinois overnight. An isolated severe
thunderstorm is possible, especially late this evening over north
central Illinois.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Friday morning...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
