THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.
WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Elevated Thunderstorm Wind Damage Risk...up to 60 MPH.
Limited Hail Risk...up to nickel size.
DISCUSSION:
An isolated thunderstorm is possible this afternoon area wide,
but the better chance for thunderstorms will be late this
evening near the Wisconsin border, then gradually spreading south
across northern Illinois overnight. An isolated severe
thunderstorm is possible, especially late this evening over north
central Illinois.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Friday morning...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotters may be need over north central Illinois tonight.
