THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Elevated Fire Weather Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Hot, dry and breezy conditions will continue today. Such
conditions create an increased risk of wild fires.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Wednesday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Thursday through Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Unseasonably hot weather will continue into at least mid week.
Temperatures in the lower to middle 90s are expected each day
with night time low temperatures remaining in the lower to mid
70s in urban and suburban areas. Max heat indices during the
period are expected to generally remain just below 100 degrees.
