THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A frontal boundary is expected to be the focus for scattered
thunderstorm development this afternoon and evening over portions
of northern Illinois and northwestern Illinois. While widespread
severe weather is unlikely with these storms, the strongest storms
may produce isolated wind gusts to 50 MPH. The storms will end
across the area during the evening.

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Tuesday Night...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A persistent period of early season hot weather is forecast from
Saturday through at least the middle of next week. Temperatures
are likely to climb into to low to middle 90s each day. Heat
indices during the period are expected to generally remain just
below 100 degrees.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
