This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected…

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.  Elevated Flooding Risk.  Limited Excessive heat Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Scattered thunderstorms are expected today and tonight. The greatest coverage of storms along with the greatest flood threat is expected along and north of the Interstate 88 corridor, though isolated storms are possible farther south.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Wednesday…

Elevated Flooding Risk.  Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.  High Swim Risk

Thursday through Saturday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  High Swim Risk

Sunday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

There will be periodic thunderstorm chances throughout the week. In addition, hot and humid conditions are also expected into Wednesday.
